Welcome to our family page! I'm Tom Buchanan, and I've been at this genealogy addiction for some time, with vast amounts of information collected over 16 years. I have researched several family lines, including Buchanan, Pyeatt, Sellers, Carter, Thigpen, Stanaland, Willets, Vaughan, Rose, Weatherford, Yarnell, Russell, Flanegan, Harmon, and many others. Most of these are southern family lines, with Alabama, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and Arkansas being the states which seem to have gotten the most attention in my research.
The ancestry report for JTB, III below is a compilation of almost all the information I have, covering the ancestors and collateral relatives of my son Joel Thomas ("Jeb") Buchanan, III and daughter Caroline Rebecca Buchanan. Within the reports, some unusually interesting, well-documented individuals may have additional biographical information in their respective notes section. This is especially true for the large # in the database who are ancestors or collateral relatives of my great-grandfather Dr. Joel Carter Sellers, the branch on which I have done the most extensive work.
In addition, I have added an ancestry report for my children's uncle, Brian Shane Klugh -- my sister's husband and father of my nephews (Jeb and Caroline's 1st cousins) Evan Garrett Klugh and Tyler Brennan Klugh.
While it is certainly true that a project such as this never really ends, it is safe to say that the kids have their first grade "My Family Tree" projects well in hand!
My beautiful bride Lisa and I married on May 21, 2006, and I will soon add her considerable family information. Look for new data soon on the Hudgins of Virgina, the Robinsons of Pennsylvania, and many other families.
Be sure to visit my companion website at the Rootsweb WorldConnect Project and review by surname the individuals in which you are interested. There is a link to it below. And, of course, feel free to contact me. I would love to hear from you!

Serious researchers will find in the reports that sources are not generally included. This is purely a question of practicality, as I have thousands of organized pages of original and secondary source documentation in my personal folders, and to source every detail in my computer file would take the next twenty years! Please know that I am always willing and ready to share my documentation with any who are interested in it.
