He also farmed after coming to America.  Fact 1: Soon after Mark and Nancy wed they left Liverpool, England for New York, arriving there November 8, 1851, after a voyage of five weeks.   They settled in Pittsford, New York, and in 1854 moved to Dodge County, Wisconsin and farmed near Brownsville in the town of Lomira.
