2. Henry Curtis BUGBEE was born on Apr 21 1841 in Plainfield, N.H.. He died on Mar 12 1912 in Benton County, In. His wife Julia was the daughter of William and Delilah (Cox) Daniels of Princeton, Ill.
Henry Curtis served nearly four years in the Civil War in Co. E. 9th New Hampshire Volunteers. He was a farmer in Indiana for many years.

The 9th New Hampshire under Col. Enoch Q. Fellows, was mustered in July 3rd to Aug. 23rd, 1862, and mustered out June 10th, 1865, after the recruits had been transferred to the 6th NH. It lost 143 killed or died of wounds and 243 who died from other causes. It first served under McClellan, and got in the fighting at South Mountain and Antietam. Some months after the Battle of Fredericksburg, it was sent West and got in the siege at Vicksburg, after which it did guard and escort duty in that vicinity, untill April 27th, 1864, when it joined the Second Brigade, Second Division, Ninth Corps, and again was transferred to the Army of the Potomac to take part in the last great campaign of that army, beginning at the Wildernes and including the siege of Petersburg. After wintering at Fort Alexander Hays, the regiment did guard duty in the Spring of 1865, took part in the Grand Review at Washington and was sent home from that city. He was married to Julia A. DANIELS on Sep 12 1870.

3. Julia A. DANIELS was born on Oct 22 1848 in Clinton County, Ohio. She died on Dec 29 1930. Children were:

child i. Harry Herbert BUGBEE was born on Jul 5 1871 in Benton County, In. He died on Jul 16 1951. At an early age he went west living at intervals in South Dakota, Iowa and Oregon. He married Alma Below and took her to Alberto Canada where they lived on a ranch for a number of years. They lived in (1937) in Duncomb Iowa.
child ii. Amos Walter BUGBEE was born on Dec 4 1872 in Benton County, In. He died on Oct 18 1938.

child iv. Ben McPherson BUGBEE was born on May 27 1878 in Remington, In. He died on Jan 5 1939 in Indianapolis, In. He was buried in Fowler, In. Ben was a special agent of the Bankers Life Company. He had been associated with the Bankers Life Company for many years. He was a member of the Masonic Order and the North M.E. church of Indianapolis. For about 15 years a public school teacher in In. In 1926 he took up life insurance work and was for some 10 years a salesman for the Bankers Life Insurance Copany of DesMoines, Iowa.
child v. Edgar Curtis BUGBEE was born on Mar 7 1883. He died on Sep 23 1957. Worked as a mail clerk for the NC &St.L Railway. He was a member of the Masonic Order, was a Shriner and a member of the First Baptist Church.
child vi. Roy Francis BUGBEE was born on Jul 25 1889 in Remington, In. He died on Sep 28 1972 in Tullahoma, Tenn. He was buried in Tullahoma, Tenn.
