Bukkila Family Tree

I am researching the Bukkila family from Kauhjoki, Finland. Simon Matinpoika Pukila was born on 27 March, 1836 to Matts Simonsen Pukila and his wife Sophia Matts of Trillingeham according to parish records. Simon married Kustaava Eerikintytar and they had seven boys: Matti, Juho, Aleksanteri, Hermanni, Antti, Samuel, Nikolai and three girls: Maija, Kaisa, Hilma.

Six of the boys and one of the girls came to the U.S. during the 1890's with most, if not all settling in various parts of Minnesota. One of those boys, Juho (aka. John Jacob), is my great-grandfather. I am currently looking for more information on Matti, who changed his name to Matt Simonson upon arriving in the U.S., and Hermanni who I believe kept his surname. I am also looking for more information on Simon's siblings and their descendants. I am hopeful that someday I will find some of my living relatives who still reside in Finland.
