I'm looking for the ancestors or descendants of Zachariah Taylor Spoonamore. After coming to the US from Germany, some of the families changed their name from Sponheimer to the present day Spoonamore. The names I have are Bassaheba, Billy, Charles, Chester, David, Edward, Gladys, Guy, Joe, John Henry, Katherine, Lydia Minnie, Phoebe Catherine, Russell, Sadie, Stephen, Sue, Taylor, William Taylor, Wilma and Winifred.My Great Grandmother was Phoebe Catherine Spoonamore, she married William James Golliher. She was born 12-31-1883, died 3-18-1962. Their children were: Henry Taylor Golliher and Ruth Agatha.The Spoonamore family has roots in Versailles, Mt. Sterling, Rushville, Beardstown, and Cooperstown, all in Illinois.Taylor and his wife Candace Spoonamore are buried in Cooperstown Cemetery, Cooperstown, Il.
