I am researching the BULL/BULLE family in Shelby County, Ohio and Tippecanoe County, Indiana. My gggrandfather, Benjamin Franklin Bull, was born (5 June 1830) in Tippecanoe Co, Indiana and moved to Shelby Co, Ohio to have his family. His parents are unknown at this time. He married Lucinda SHERWOOD who lived in Miami County, Ohio. They are buried at Fletcher Cemetery, Fletcher, Miami Co, Ohio. Her parents were Peter SHERWOOD (b. 29 Sept. 1799) and Clarissa MEIGHEN (b. 29 Mar 1807). Clarissa was born in Butler County, Ohio. Other children were William, David, Abigail, Eliza P. and Leah. After Lucinda died, Frank married Eunice CUMMINS on 30 Dec 1879. (At this time, it is unknown when the "e" was added to the last name.) In addition, I am researching the Henry and Margaret FEY family. Their son, John Christian (b. 1 Aug 1848; d. 4 Nov 1914) moved to Swanders Crossing, Franklin Township, Shelby County, Ohio from Germany with his parents. Henry and Margaret moved to Fredericksburg, Maryland in 1868. John C. married Eva Savilla HARTMAN (10 Nov 1874; d. 1933) and they had their family in Shelby County, Ohio. Eva and John are buried at Pearl Cemetery, Swanders, Shelby Co, Ohio. Their daugher, Bertha (b. 1 Jan 1876; d Oct.1947) married Harry Lee Bull (9 Sept 1898) then Jesse DICKENSHEETS after Lee died. Bertha is buried next to Jesse at Plattsville Cemetery, Plattsville, Shelby Co, Ohio. Harry Lee is buried at Fletcher Cemetery, Fletcher, Miami Co, Ohio according to cemetery records. The other daughter, Emma Ethel (b. 6 Feb 1886; d. 22 Nov 1936)) married (6 Jun 1906) Asa Harry Fogt (b. 15 Jan 1882; d. 19 Feb 1965). They are buried at Pearl Cemetery, Swanders,Shelby Co, Ohio. My gggrandfather, Godfrey John KAH, Sr., (b. 8 Aug 1831; d. 15 May 1915) settled in Anna, Shelby Co, Ohio. Godfrey married Magdalene BOWERS (b. 20 Dec 1834; d. 3 Feb 1899). Godfrey and Magdalene were born in Germay. His son, Louis W. KAH (b. 21 Sept 1855; d. 12 Dec 1920) married Caroline S. FOSTER (b. 2 Oct. 1939) on 28 Mar 1885. They are buried at Cedar Point Cemetery, Pasco, Shelby Co, Ohio. (I have very little information on this family.) Their children's names are Oscar, Agnes, Florence, John and Stella. Agnes (b. 7 Mar 1900; d. 16 Mar 1993) married (29 Nov 1923) Ernest Hartman BULLE (b. 20 June 1902; d. 28 Feb 1981), Florence married Ezra Alonzo (Lonnie) SCHILTZ. Oscar married Mabel DUER. Stella (b. Sept. 1888) married James CAHILL. The children are buried at Cedar Point Cemetery, Pasco, Shelby Co, Ohio. The third family is the Johann HEINFELD family. This family came from Hannover, Germany and settled in Shelby and Auglaize Counties in Ohio. Some of them migrated to Columbia City and Ft. Wayne, Indiana. (The information on the family tree is from the diligent research of my cousin, Dru.) Finally, the SILVER family was from California and one, my grandmother, married a HEINFELD and moved to Shelby County, Ohio. Any information that you may contribute to improve this site is welcome.
