Ben was the son of Samuel M. Bull and Emily Nell Booth. He was b. 6 Mar 1877, m. Joan Alvis, d. 19 Jul 1899. He was ill when he went on a cattle drive with his grandfather Ambrose. He caught typho-pneumonia and died at age 22.
