I am researching the BUMPSTEAD / BUMSTEAD family name, all direct ancestors, so far, being born in Suffolk, England. The earliest, my Great (X5) Grandfather, FRANCIS settled in Wetherden, with his wife ALICE, where their son FRANCIS was baptised in 1770. I am searching for details of their marrage and parents, together with all namesakes, and their decendants, including MADGE and KIT who emigrated to North America in about 1912. Additionaly, I am also researching the family names of: BARRETT in Suffolk and CULY and HARPUR in Cambridgeshire. Information exchanges would be much appreciated. |
