I am searching for the ancestors of Wannasoit THORNDIKE of Bridgeport and Milford, CT. The Thorndike line is well documented in the book "Descendents of John Thorndike of Essex County, Mass" by Morgan Hewitt Stafford. Wannasoit's father, John Prince Thorndike, married secondly, near Dayton, OH, 29 Oct. 1899, Maud America (WILLIAMS) Fisher, the daughter of William Williams, Jr. and his first wife, Henrietta Lucina SMITH. I have been unable to find a birth certificate for Maud in or around the Lenox, OH area where she is believed to have been born on 3 June 1865. Maud married first, Jules Fisher, in Flint, MI, and they had 4 children all born in Flint: Jules Wade, Wellington, Ethel Icie, and Murl who was born on 25 July 1891.
The surnames I am looking for include SMITH, BUCKMAN, and PHILLIPS and are found in MA, NY, OH, and MI.

In addition, I am looking for the birth certificate of Nicholas HANSON of Lyman and Scarboro, ME. He is believed to be the son of Charles and Dorcas (MILLER) HANSON of Berwick, ME, Barnston, P.Q., Canada, Canaan, VT, and Bartlett, NH. Nicholas was born 22 March 1784, possibly in Lyman, ME, and died 4 Sept. 1853 in Scarboro, ME. He married Eliza GOODRICH on 31 Dec. 1804 in Lyman, ME, and they had 9 children: Oliver, Hannah, Charles Ezra, Eunice, Calvin, Hiram, Luther, Nicholas, and Eliza(beth) Jane.

Any information would be appreciated. I will share any information that I have.
