| Barbara Ann Clemmons Burdick 3195 Clemmons Drive Hood River,OR 97031 541-490-6313 | I am researching my grandfather, Frank Beuford Clemmons, born August 15, 1883(1880) in Butler, Missouri or possibly Vinita, Oklahoma. His parents are Ophelia Ethel Hardy and Charles Henry Clemmons or Benjamin Franklin Clemmons. My grandfather Frank came to Oregon and married my grandmother, Louise Byrd.She was born September 24, 1887 in Chelsea, Oklahoma to Mary Williams Byrd and William M.(A.) Byrd.The Byrd family came to Oregon in 1900 and settled in Hood River, Oregon. Any information regarding Clemmons or Hardy would be most helpful. I am also looking for information on the William Byrd family before they came to Oregon. The family lived in Westfork, Arkansas in 1880. They moved to Oklahoma sometime between 1880 and 1887.
