I am researching the Burnham surname. The original Burnham's arrived in America in 1635 aboard the ship Angel Gabriel. It appears that they first settled in Ipswich, Mass. and over the years migrated to Vermont.I am also researching the Harris surname. My grandfather was Harry Bliss Harris and he was born in Bradford, Vt. on Dec. 16, 1879. His father Henry Harris was born in Hinsdale, New Hampshire date of b. + d. unknown. His mother was Victoria Watson born in Wardsboro, Vt. date of b. + d. unknown.Also researching the surname of Wood. William Wood was in the 1850 census of Vt. Rutland Co. in the town of Pittsford. He was 30 yr. old and married to Clorysa age 22, daughter Sarah age 6, daughter Susan age 3, and son Barnny 2months. I believe his fathers name may have been Livi (Levi), age 65 at this time and living in this house hold.
