4. THOMAS3 BURT (JAMES2, FATHER1) was born Abt. 1661 in Taunton, MA, and died Aft. 1717 in Dighton, MA. He married (1) MARY SIMMONS Abt. 1690. She died Bef. 1694. He married (2) JEMIMA PHILLIPS Bef. 1695, daughter of WILLIAM PHILLIPS. She died March 28, 1718 in Berkley, MA.

Thomas Burt (1661-1717) lived all his life in Taunton, MA
md. Jemmia Phillips who died Mar 28, 1718. She was the dt of William
Phillips. Thomas was the son of James Burt (1622-1680) the immigrant
and his wife Anna (1630-1665). James' brother Richard came to
Taunton first. James appears to have married in Massachusetts. I
don't have a list of children for Thomas & Jemima. Thomas had a
first wife, Mary Simmon of whom I know nothing.
