1880 Census listed Emory Burgess age 33 living in Plymouth, Rockland, married to Mary A. Burgess age 29, born England, and son Albert age 6, born in Massachusetts. 1900 Census listed Emory Burgess, with Wife Mary, Son Albert F., daughters Helen L. and Elsie D. living in a rental house on Allison St in Rockland. The Census stated that his wife born in England immigrated to the United States in 1851 and that his father was born in Massachusetts.
