Jacob Warren (son of Arthur Warren and Mary) was born 26 October 1642 in Weymouth, Norfolk, Ma, and died 1721 in Chelmsford, Middlesex, MA. He married Mary Hildreth on 21 June 1667 in Chelmsford, Middlesex, MA, daughter of Richard Hildreth and Elizabeth Hinchman.
Notes for Jacob Warren: Jacob(2) ;b. October 26, 1642, in Weymouth Mass. He went to Chelmsford Mass. about 1666 where he married Mary Hildreth, dau. of Lt. Richard and Elizabeth Hildreth, on June 21, 1667. She was b. 1650, in Cambridge, Mass. He became an active and influential citizen of Chelmsford. He became a viewer of fences in 1667; admitted freeman March 11, 1674; member of a committe to settle bounds of land in 1673, 1687 and 1709; tythingman in 1679, 1691, 1694 and 1697; selectman in 1683; and surveyor of highways in 1686; and listed as a member of the "Garrison in the West Regiment in Middlesex" at Chelmsford under Lt. (Richard) Hildreth March 16, 1692 "The 5th day of 12 mo. 1677, were given to Jacob Warren two acres of land lying adjoining to Richard Hildreth's land on the south side of the bridge for him to build a house on for his subsitence Witness on behalf of the Town, Samuell Adams, Clerk" This land was "bounded east and south by the lands of Robert Procter, west by the highway to Tadmack (Pond) and north by the Town Common" and lies in what is now called Westford. April 6, 1711, three acres were laid out to him "on the Right of Thomas Hinchman in the first division of Commons" in Chelmsford, and March 12, 1712, one more acre on the same "right." He died in 1722 at the age of 80 years, in Chelmsford and is buried there with his wife who died in that town Dec. 17, 1730 at the same age.
