| Every family has its stories, myths and legends which usually pass from generation to generation without too many questions asked. What I have found out from many hours of research is that some are fact, some are sort of true, and some really are myths. I have also found that there are just as many unheard stories which emerge and even more questions remaining when every source has been tapped. The biggest surprise to me is finding out that I have so many ancestors and so many names attached to my family. What follows are my efforts to see where the families of my sons Laing and Robert came from.
