This Page last updated on 8-11-2002 I am researching the BURTON family of Baltimore County Maryland. Joshua Burton and his siblings. Joshua Burton lived in Glen Arm Maryland in Baltimore County. He was born about 1820. His third child was Edward Charles Burton who was born March 29, 1853 in Long Green Maryland on the family farm. Edward was my Great Grandfather. Joshua had three Brothers and one Sister. They were Josias Burton died about 1876 Married Elizabeth Ann Burton Thomas Craddock Burton Married Laura Jane Evans Sarah Jane Burton who married James Linigan Richard Burton Joshua Burton is my Great-Great-Grandfather he married Elizabeth Fowler d/o Benjamin Fowler & Cordelia Burton both born in Maryland. Cordelia Burton was the d/o Joseph Burton and Constant Legatt who were married October 13, 1768, in Baltimore County. Sims Married Cordelia Burton Emma Jeannette Sims M1 ?? Vaughn, M2 Edward Burton, Andrew J. Sims Married Mary Jane Burton Elizabeth Ann Sims Married Edward Burton (** My Great Grand Parents) Charles E. Nicholl, In addition to the BURTON family, We are also researching the Family of Benedict Huber, Benedict Huber Married Theresa Zinzer in Germany, They imigrated to Baltimore sometime between 1891 to 1894. Johann Noppinger, married Katharina Hein I am also working on the BARRON / BARON family of Erie PA. Peter Jacob Barron came from Bavaria Germany in 1835 and lived in Mc Kean area of Erie, PA.
