Viola Mullen reports that, she knew Virginia SIMS and her husband Thomas SIMMS. She states that Andrew J. Sims was the brother of John SIMMS. This John SIMMS was the grandfather of Thomas SIMMS husband of Virginia. We have not found proof of this relationship yet.

Funeral from War Chapel, near Summerfield, Eleventh district, Baltimore County, at 1 o'clock. Interment in Greenwood this day.

Notes about death notice, Summerfield is south of Notchcliff & Glen Arm in Baltimore County. We do not know why the death notice requested Washington County papers please copy. Waugh Church is located near Greenwood.

Funeral from the above residence this Wednesday, February 7, at 1 P.M., thence to Waugh Chapel, whose services will be held at 2 P.M. Interment in Waugh Chapel Cemetery. Relatives and friends invited."

"I Mary Jane Sims of Baltimore County in the State of Maryland do make and publish this my last will and testament, as follows. I direct that all of my estate of whatever description be sold and converted into money by my executor and divided into nine equal shares or parts to be disposed of as follows, one equal share or part to each of my eight children, namely Martha Jane Pierce, Mary Isabella Johnson, Thomas F. Sims, Emma Janette Baught, Andrew J. Sims, Virginia Sims, George W. Sims, John W. Sims and one equal share or part to the children of my daughter Elizabeth Ann Burton (now deceased) who may be living at the time of my decease share and share alike. I finally nominate and appoint my son George W. Sims the executor of this my will without bond."
