Mrs. Marguerite Bureau, died at her home at 132 Fisher street, at 1:30 a.m. today, after a lingering illness. She was eighity-six years of age and was born in St. Edward, Canada. She came here with her husband in 1854 and was therefore one of the pioneers of Marquette. Her husband died 4 years ago. She leaves five sons and one daughter. The sons are Louis, Emanuel, Edmund, Fred and Edward. Her daughter is Mrs. Marguerite Bernard. Mrs. Bureau was also a great-great-grandmother. The funeral will be held from the French Catholic church Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. The Interrment will be in Holy Cross cemetery.

The death of Mrs. Margaret Bureau, 132 Fisher Street occured yesterday afternoon, the sad climax of an illness of some months. The deceased was one of the oldest residents of the city. She came here from Canada fifty years ago with her husband, who died in Marquette in 1903. Mrs. Bureau was aged eighty-six and is surived by one daughter and five sons. The obsequies will be held Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock, with services at St. John's church and internment at Holy Cross cemetery.
