Notes for ERVIN JONES HUNT: Family story has it that Ervin Jones is the son of John Hunt, Jr. who is the son of John Hunt, founder of Huntsville. However, I have found no proof of this, and actually John Hunt, Jr. died 13 months before Ervin Jones was born. Gladys Quillen's notes say that Great GrandDad Hunt died of Pnuemonia, Great Grandmother Hunt of paralysis. She lists with dittos these names again, with dad dying of pnuemonia and mother of cancer of the bowls. I don't know if she means Ollie Belle and James Willie or James Willie's parents. iii.
