The census lists his second wife, Nancy Letitia [Alexander] Hall Smith; her daughter, Lorraine [Hall] O'Kelly, and grandchildren, Addison and Jeanette L. O'Kelly. The census also indicated that his father had been b. in Switzerland

This census listed only T. J. Smith as a Head of Household. Sometime after the 1920 census, Nancy had taken the children and moved to Okfuskee, OK. He died in Jimtown, Love, OK in 1935.
