Had ministries in Elkville, IL and Norris City, IL. In 1961, Jack & Peggy went as missionaries to Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe, Africa. Worked among the primitive Batonga for 12 years using evangelism, medical treatment, sewing classes, literacy work and leadership training. Jack supervised the building of homes, schools, airstrips and airplane hangers as well as being school manager for 11 mission schools.
In 1975 Jack and Peggy went to the capital (then Salisbury) to work with Rhodesian Christian College and the church on its campus. Both Jack and Peggy taught and Jack ministered to the church. From 1988 he was the principal of the college until 1994 in addition to teaching. Students came from all over Zimbabwe to be trained as minsters and Christian workers. Today, some work with several churches in the rural area or with large church in a city; others are medical assistants in hospitals or clinics; several are chaplains in large boarding high school, hospitals, army or prisons. Some graduates are working in Kenya, Malawi, South Africa, The Sudan and Botswana as well as all over Zimbabwe.
