Dr. Paul Hoerlein Roth was born on Dec. 21, 1880 to T.B. Roth and Amalie
Hoerlein. He was ordained in 1906 and served as professor at Northwestern
Seminary from 1917-1952 and as president from 1935-1950. He died on Jan. 13,
1967. One of his children was Rev. Paul L. Roth.
