I am researching the Butler family going back as far as 1789 in Baltimore, MD where Harrison arrived, possibly from Scotland, as a stonecutter. His son Joseph was father to 18 children one of them named Absolum who left Balt.for Virginia , Ohio and finally Iowa where he passed away in 1863. |
