My great grandparents on my mother's side. When I would go as a child, they were living in the home of my maternal grandparents, Walter B. & Laura McKinney Hicks. Mary A. Fowler died in December 1930 and was the first funeral for me. I vaguely
remember her as sickly and blind! She was always in bed when I remember her. I was almost three years old.
