Descendants of Calvin J. Butler

Updated July 9, 2008

This data concerning the descendants of Calvin J. Butler and his two wives Martha Jane Hicks and Cynthia B. Donaldson is provided with the hope that someone may yet be able to identify Calvin's parents (or siblings, if he had any). Family letters, old autograph books, and inscriptions on the backs of old photographs establish that Calvin was, at the least, a cousin of the brothers Atlas J., Marvel, and Seymour Spencer Butler, but the exact relationship is not yet known. I have posted data on these and other Butler families of Carroll Co. TN (see Related Links below); I also have additional data on allied families who lived in/around Carroll Co. TN, Montgomery Co. NC, etc., as well as some other Butler lines, and am willing to correspond about same.

If you have data which proves relationships between the various Butler families in Carroll Co. TN and/or Montgomery Co. NC (which are discussed in some detail at the website noted under Related Links below), e-mail me at the address below.
