He is buried in McKee Cem, East Garafraxa, Dufferin Co., ONT.

- Brick Walls: Rachel FOWLER (1818-aft 1880) SC (1 KB)
Rachel was probably b. in the Greenville Co., SC area. Rachel is a common given name for many Greenville FOWLERs, but she has not been positively placed with them. Rachel m. Moses H. LISTER (1820-1872, s/o Esther LANGLEY & Dr. Simon LISTER) on 28 July 1850 in Greenville Co., SC. Moses was a widower, his first wife, Susan Jeanette SUDDETH, dying about 1846. With Rachel's age at her marriage to Moses, I suspect that she had been married before as well, perhaps even that FOWLER was her married name. She & Moses had 3 sons and 3 daughters together.

- Brick Walls: Emeline DEMMORES / DEMINS, b. 1827 PA (2 KB)
Emeline's father was b. MA and mother, Canada. I suspect she is part of the large Mayflower DAMON family in MA; I've seen her name transcribed as DANION, which could be a mistake for DAMON. There are a number of Emelines in the lineages for that MA area. Perhaps she married William SCALES (b. 1821 IRE) in Ontario, where she also raised her family. After 1878, the family began moving to Bruce Twp, Chippewa Co., Michigan. Emeline died there in 1901 and is buried in McKee Cem, East Garafraxa, Dufferin Co., ONT with her husband and several sons.
