      5. Edna Joyce Stella Old, born April 17, 1929 in Tolworth, Surrey Co., England. She was the daughter of 10. James Thomas Old, Jr. and 11. Maud Lomax.

Notes for Benjamin Franklin "Bill" Butler:
Benjamin served in the United States 8th Army Air Corps during World War Two. He later re-enlisted with the United States Army and retired in 1964 with a total of 22 years of service.

      6. Erwin John Gomon, born November 18, 1920 in Phoenix, Oswego Co., New York. He was the son of 12. Louis Remington Gomon and 13. Maude Letson. He married 7. Katherine Jo Kangelos June 21, 1944 in Temple, Bell Co., Texas.

      7. Katherine Jo Kangelos, born January 12, 1923 in Anniston, Calhoun Co., Alabama. She was the daughter of 14. Earnest Kangelos and 15. Josephine Kiker.

Notes for Erwin John Gomon:
Erwin enlisted in the New York National Guard in 1938. There, he was in the 27th Division until 1940 when the 27th was Federalized into the United States Army due to the outbreak of World War Two. In 1943 he went to OCS at Ft. Benning, GA and was then reassigned to the 4th Infantry Division in October 1944. The 4th Infantry Division landed at Utah Beach on June 6, 1944 and was instrumental in the European Campaign against the German Army. He was with the 4th during the Battle of Hurtgen Forest and the Battle of the Bulge. After the War, he served in the Radio and Television Services of the Army in different countries including Germany, Japan, Korea, and then Ft. Gordon, GA. He retired on September 28, 1962 at Ft. Gordon, GA having served a total of 24 years.

  3 i.   Patricia Anne Gomon, born April 14, 1946 in Anniston, Calhoun Co., Alabama; married Richard Benjamin Butler December 17, 1967 in Augusta, Richmond Co., Georgia.
