| All the Butenschoen families that I have researched have originated in the Schleswig-Holstein area of Germany. I believe if all the Butenschoens living in America would share family information, it would be possible to locate a common ancestor. I have information on many Butenschoen families and would be happy to share and swap information. Would like any information on Hinrich (Henry) Butenschoen, born December 16, 1854 in Todenbuttel, Germany. Emigrated to America 1867 at age 12. Lived in the Chicago area. |
