Hi thanks for visiting my web page. This began as a search for my greatgrand mother, Emma Walker (lightfoot)who I believe is an American Indian. Emma was born in or around Rome, Ga. I think she was born 02/14/1882. She had two children that I know of a son Willie Walker SR. 10/15/1907 and a daughter Emily Walker-lightfoot. Emma Walker was married to a George Walker in the early 1900's. Emma Walker/Flournoy Mother was Anna Flournoy born in May 1864 a slave. Anna Flournoy married Anderson Bracely born in 1869. they had four Children Thomas, John Sallie, and Allie born in Jefferson County, Georgia My Family has always lived in Burke and Jefferson Counties,Georgia, in the cities of Rome, Waynesboro, Augusta, Jefferson County, Burke County, as well as Watkinsville.
