| Presently researching the surnames Allison, Bessette, Butler,Heiland and Lockhart. My great-great-great-grandfather (John Lockhart) migrated from Ireland to Lucknow, Ontario CANADA. Great-great-grandfather (Isaac Lockhart) migrated to Castleton, North Dakota then on to Havre, Montana. The Allison family is from Virginia and Missouri (Ralls County). Descendants moved on to Cutbank, Montana. Bessette's migrated from St. Gregoire, Quebec, Canada and migrated to Havre, Montana. Butler ancestors are from Maryland and the Heiland's probably from Baltimore, Maryland area. Would appreciate any information along these lines! Thanks! |
