The Butt and Vokey Family Home Page

I am currently researching several family names of Newfoundland and their links to Southwestern England. Focus is on the following surnames: Butt from Bradley's Cove Vokey from Spaniard's Bay area Rideout from Twillingate area Gosse from Bay Robert's or area Barrett from Twillingate area Earle from Carbonear or area Loveridge from Twillingate area I have traced one lineage back 10 generations to one of the earliest setters in Newfoundland; namely a Llewelyn Smith who settled in Twilligate.
