The Captain Owen Butler Home Page

I am in search of the family of Captain Owen Butler b1825,d1901 in Cobourg ON. Owen was born in Galbally Co Limerick Ireland. His parents were John Butler and Margaret Mullins. I believe that he lived in Quebec City before moving to Cobourg ON. c1852. I would also like to get information on Mary Butler, Owens sister b1800 Co. Tipperary, d1870 in Quebec City. Also her son James Wood b1841 d1914 in Quebec City. James married Mary Nolan in 1868.
Owen's three sons are missing, they were all born in Cobourg ON.
Joseph b1866 was alive in Toronto ON. c1938, Thomas (or James) b1869, and Francis (Frank) b1871. It is believed that Francis enlisted in the US Marines at Sacketts Harbour NY., served in the Spanish American War and was pensioned off living in the US.
