This is a work in progress. It will chronicle the lives of brothers who left Scotland as teenagers to sail to America where unknown challenges and the tantalization of great fortunes drew them. The threads of their disappointments and successes will eventually be woven here into a tapestry of tribute to their courage and foresight as well a testimony to our own revered heritage.
