I'm descended from John Butler (1786-1846) and Mary E. Lindsey (1799-1870), John's second wife who lived in the Perrysville, Ashland, Knox Co. area of Ohio. Also from his son, John Silver Butler (1830-1900) and wife Sarah Riblet (1833-1907) of the same area. I'm trying to find more info on John's father, mother, and siblings. He was born in PA and I believe his father's name was James, born circa 1754.
I have a lot of information on my family tree, collected both on-line and from relatives which I am willing to share. Family ties include: BROWN, BUTLER, SHARP, SPOHN, SWANSON, MILLER, KARCH and MCCAIN on my side and HATCHER and SMITH on my wife's side.
