I am particularly interested in contacting people who are researching the German Wahlen family tree from the Steinkirchen, Grünendeich & Lühe area in Niedersachsen, on the south bank of the Elbe River. I have a relative who was born there in 1821, left there about 1842 and eventually married and settled in the United Kingdom about 1850.
