He was married to Elizabeth Sligh, the daughter of Nicholas Sligh and Catherine Cappleman. His estate was probated on 4 Mar 1816. I would also like to have any information on the children of John Buzhardt. They were John S., Abner, James A., Cyrus, Anne Catherine, Margret and Jacob.
