Staton/Staten Family Lines

I am researching STATON family from Rutherford Co. NC. Benjamin Staton first appear in the 1800 Rutherford Co. NC census. He married Mary Wood Abt.1785 in Rockbridge Co. VA. He had three daughters Jennie, Nancy and Mary and 8 sons, Samuel Gordon, John Walter, Eli, William, Andrew, John, Anderson and Reuben. Reuben is from my line.

Reuben married Katherine Laughter Abt.1824 in Rutherford County NC. Katherine is the daughter of Wiley Laughter and Ann Shelton. Reuben and Katherine's daughter Catherine married John Jones Kilpatrick, son of William Wilson Kilpatrick and Susan Jones, Abt. 1851 in Rutherford Co. NC. Son Samuel W.H.C. married Martha Walker Abt.1852 in Murray Co. GA. Son Wiley Benjamin married Mary Jane Thogmartin Abt.1873 in Whitfield Co. GA. Daughter Falby married M. Morgan Abt.1862 in Whitfield Co. GA. Daughter Matilida married John Johnson Abt.1873 in Whitfield Co. GA and daughter Adaline married General Johnson Abt.1880 in Whitfield County GA. Have info only on Samuel W.H.C. and Wiley Benjamin STATON/STATEN after 1860.

Dock Walton/Walter Staten married Mary Hubbard and had a son Robert and two daugthers. Mary, Robert and daughters was living in Texas in early 1930's.
