| Charlies family;JAMES SAMUEL RAMPLEY, wife, SUDIE BURNETT. Children, MINNIE LEE RAMPLEY, b-1884, Ga. SPENCE BURNETT RAMPLEY, b-?, JOHN BUNYAN RAMPLEY, b-1889, CALVIN RAMPLEY, b-1882, WILLIAM THOMAS RAMPLEY, b-?,JAMES W. RAMPLEY, b-1887, MARY SUE RAMPLEY, b-1868, LUNIE RAMPLEY, b-?. We have a bit of family lore on a few of these folks and would like to know more. MINNIE LEE married PORTER HARRISON BYNUM, who is my G-father. They lived in Chattooga Co. Ga. all their lives and I have no information on the BYNUM side past my Gfather. He was born 1884 according to the Bible in Unity, Al. but the facts in the book are mostly wrong. They were entered many years after he died. He had a brother named SAMPSON BYNUM, and a sister,EMMA BYNUM STEWART Who was supposed to live around Carrollton, Ga. His father may have been named ALBERT. They are belived to have come from S.C. Carols family; My fathers name was HERBERT KIMBLE jr. from Sherman Tx. I have a good bit of info on the KIMBLES, but my gmother was PARRIE LEE ELLIOTT, from Galveston, Tx. Her parents are said to have come from Al. and I have found nothing on them. All the family pictures are gone and I would love to find someone who could help in any way. Also looking for GEORGE BRADEN, Christian Co. Mo. Have no info before him or his wifes name. They are my childrens Great gparents and woul like to trace them back to possible Cherokee ancestry. |
