In researching my family lines I found that many family members married siblings, and cousins of each other. I even found that my husbands 7xgreat aunt married my 7xgreat uncle. Thus the title " TANGLED ROOTS "
One family name led to another family name until there are literally hundreds of them in here.
I started with my Maternal ancestors, the Mulhollands, Stipes, Roche, Rockwell, Marshall, and Abbeys...Most of those were in Randolph Co. Illinois in the 1800's , before that mainly from Connecticut and Kentucky.
My Paternal ancestors are Rogers, Williams, Morris, Hawkins, Alsop....They are from Saline Co. Illinois and Tennessee.
Then of course there are my husbands family, the Cady's, Clinkinbeards, Horvath and Montgomery's.
I am willing to share any and all info and please feel free to e-mail me with any new info or corrections
