Pvt. Frederick Cadmus Jr., Born in Philadephia about 1831, enlisted as private in 14th Regiment of New Jersey Volunteers on October 1st, 1864. of Plainfield, NJ. After discharge married Miss Anna Jane Smalley (b. Feb. 23, 1847 d, abt. 1913., married March 08, 1867., daughter of William L. Smalley prominent meat merchant of Plainfield, NJ.

Need to verify that his father Frederick Cadmus, was born abt. 1775 and married to Deborah Clark. Need birth, marriage and death dates. Many Cadmuses migrated from Bayonne area to Plainfield, NJ.

Need marriage date and parents of Helen and sister Abigail D. Bell believed to have arrived in the Port of New York. No ship's name found oor passenger list. Believed to have first settled in
Queens, New York.
