I am researching the Caffey & Stelling Family's. The Caffey's are from the North Texas and Southern California area of the U.S. My father was Robert Oscar Caffey born in Uvalde, Texas, his father was Oscar B. Caffey also from Texas and his father was John William Madison Caffey from the Alabama and Mississippi area's. His father was Hooper Van Caffey from Alabama and his father was Charles Caffey from the N. Carolina area. His father was John Caffey from Dorchester Maryland and his father was Michael Caffey who came to the US from Ulster, Ireland in the mid 1700's.
The Stellings are from San Francisco and Souther California. My wifes father is Henry Barthold Stelling from San Francisco.
