SHEPPARD, Tasker - 1910 -2002. Passed peacefully away at Brookfield Hospital, surrounded by family and friends, on Tuesday, September 24, 2002. Tasker Sheppard, age 91 years, of Badger`s Quay. Predeceased by his parents, James and Martha Sheppard; wife Greta (Knee); twins: Jesse and Samuel; sisters: Clara, Maude, Gertrude, Mabel; brothers: Samuel, Azariah; granddaughter Marion and grandson Ambrose. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his friend and companion Gladys Strickland; four sons: Herbert (Edith), James (Edith), Howard (Cynthia), Wilson (Joan); daughter Laura Hillier (Edward); sixteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral service held on Friday, September 27, 2:00 p.m. from St. Alban`s Anglican Church, Badger`s Quay with Rev. John Watton officiating. Interment followed from the Anglican Cemetery, Badger`s Quay. Donations in his memory may be made to the Anglican Cemetery Fund, Badger`s Quay.
