In the latter part of the 18th Century, Great Britain looked towards it's Colonies to solve it's problem of overcrowded prisons.Many convicts were sent halfway across the World to an uncertain future in Australia.I've set this Family History to recognise the struggles and sacrifices my forebears endured to tame a hostile environment, and give their descendants a future to look forward to. |
