I'm searching for information on George Ernest Gorwood Sr. who immigrated from England in the early part of the 20th century.He was born in February of 1897 and died in December of 1981 in
Florida.

He married Elizabeth Ellen Blake sometime around 1920 in Portland, Maine and they had five children together.

Most of the local Gorwood family(Maine)has passed on and those who are still with us have little information. I'm really interested in finding where and when he entered the U.S. and where he originated from (Isn't that the reason we do this?) Any valid leads would be greatly appreciated and I will share information with others if requested.
