Does anyone have information on the STAYNOR family of Boston who left for Halifax, NS, with the British army in 1776? I also am interested in the DILLIHUNT/Delahunt family, probably of Irish origin. John Dillihunt married Mary Power of Sackville, NB, and brought his family to Boston in the late 1880's. I've searched for years but can find no information about John's origins. Can anyone help? The ANNABLEs of Ipswich/Hamilton, MA, were my grandmother's people. I've never located any of her family. My grandfather was a PIKE from Port-aux-Basque, Nflnd. The CAINs from Hingham/Braintree, MA, and the KINGMANs from Massachusetts are my husband's family. |
