Kenneth A. Caldwell Family Home Page

My family are descendants of John Caldwell, b. Abt. 1745, in Belfast, Antrim, Ireland. John emigrated to the United States from Ireland in 1787. He first settled in the Cumberland Valley, near Carlisle Pennsylvania. John married Ann King, Abt. 1769. She was b. Abt. 1748, Belfast, Antirm, Ireland. They had six children, Joseph, John, Elizabeth, Samuel, Ann and James King Caldwell. I have information on 8 generations of this family.

In addition I am researching other family names, Gebelin, Stephens, Brashear and Walker. I have information that tie my family tree roots to John A. Brashear b.1840 of Pittsburgh, PA. I have information on David Stephens b.1813 in south Wales, and his descendants. These two names, Brashear and Stephens are tied together by marriage, approx. 1880. Would like to find information on James Moore Walker b.3-11-1881, Pittsburgh,PA. He is also tied to the Stephen's by marriage. Anthony Michael Gebelin b.1870 in Cles, Italy, came to the United States in 1903, he is my wife's grandfather.

Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share all the information I have. I have lots of information on Caldwell, Brashear, Stephens and some on Gebelin.

  Joseph Ira Caldwell, b.January 26,1868, in Illinois, and Julia Ann Dickinson, b.December 23, 1866, in Illinois. They married on Feb.18,1890 in Pawnee City, Pawnee County, Nebraska. After living in Nebraska for 15 years, they moved to Osage County, Kansas in 1905. Joseph and Julia were my grand parents.
