4. EDMOND TAYLOR² KEY (DEMPSEY¹) was born March 30, 1847 in Missouri, and died December 15, 1926 in buried at Dover Missouri. He married CATHERINE E. ANDERSON July 27, 1866 in Coloma, Missouri, daughter of OSBORNE ANDERSON and SARAH. DAVIS. She was born 1843, and died 1911.

Notes for EDMOND TAYLOR KEY:
He was a Christian minister aroune Norborne, Missouri and was at the Antioch Church for years. Later served at Coloma.
Edmond entered the Civil War on October1, 1864 and was discharged onNovember 30, 1865. He served 11 months and 29 days. He was a private in Company H 49th Missouri Infantry. He was shot in the left shoulder. Received a pension of $75.

From Leta Karen (Key) Miller:
He served in the 49th Regimen of the Missouri Militia and was the last survivor. The 49th Regimen was comprised of all Carroll county residents in the Civil War on the Union side. He died at the age of 80 years. He became a Camelite (Christian) Minister in 1890 and preached at Antioch Church north of Norborne as well as others.

	vi.	EDMOND KEY, b. 1886; d. 1893.
17.	vii.	ELIZABETH KEY, b. Aft. 1886; d. Oklahoma.
