Notes for Clara Inez Barnes: Clara Barnes obituary as reported in the Miami News Record of November 8, 1928: Mrs. Clara Poole Dies Early Today: Mrs. Clara Inez Poole, 43 years old, wife of Delbert Poole, ground foreman at the Vinegar Hill Barr, died at 9 o'clock this morning at her home in Picher following a long illness from a cancer. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Harvey of Wichita, Mrs. Belle Thurman of Arapaho, Oklahoma and two brother, Alec and Henry Barnes of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Funeral services will probably be held at 2 o'clock Saturday at the home. The Rev. Wesley Post, pastor off the Union Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Hill Crest Cemterey at Galena, Kansas under the direction of the Green Undertaking Company.
