This Homepage updated on 02/16/2001 Seeking info on my Grandfather William George Campbell Campbell, William George (Witherow) Born 07/17/1877 (County Donegal, Ireland) Died 07/04/1927 (Brooklyn, New York) He worked in the employ of Ex-Vice President Levi P. Morton (at the "Ellerslie" estate) for 18+ years before starting a new business - apparently invented/built a sucessful CAMPBELL-_____ Floor waxing machine in the early 1900s in NYC. In the early 1900s, William married a Sarah Sinclair, born 06/19/1886 in Castletown, Scotland; died 4/20/1964, Bronx, New York. Sarah's mother - Margaret Cormack married James Sinclair, a mason journeyman,in Thurso, Scotland on 10/5/1882.Sarah & William became U.S. naturalized citizens (per naturalized papers of 5/16/1916). William & Sarah's Children: Lydia (nmn)(Sutton)Campbell Born 11/04/1909 in Manhattan, NY Died 09/1989 in VA Colin (nmn) Campbell Born 07/10/1912 in Manhattan, NY Died 05/07/1991 in El Cajon, San Diego County, CA Any info will be appreaciated Many Thanks
