Surnames I am researching are:Cook, Colbert,Coffey, Breshears (and variations) , Ihrig, Thombaugh, my fathers side. Ferry, Tobey, Gould, Miller, Bishop,Pharis and Slocum on my mothers side.
The main states they are from are Minnesota, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Missouri,Kansas, Kentucky and Washington.
My great great grandparents were John Cook b:1-14-1823 d;1883 in Eagleville ,Mo. and Polly Coffey Cook b:12-13-1824 d:11-23-1876 in Logan, Kansas. Their son Phillip b:1-13-1851 d:4-19-1924 married Lucinda O'Neal Gant b:6-5-1849 d:11-21-1922. Their son Ollie Arthur "Babe" Cook was my grandfather, He married Leona Colbert on 3-27-1915. My father was their oldest Lester Loyd.

My mothers side was also from the mid-west. William Henry Gould married Ruth Slocum from New York. William was a sea captain from Nova Scotia. John L. b: 6-17-1849 d: 9-6-1920 married Jerusha Tobey (?) in 1871, possibly in Penn. She was possibly Penn Dutch. Her father was Eugene or George Tobey and her mother Welthy Ferry. John and Jerusha settled in Morris, Minnesota. Their son Glenn S. was my grandfather. Glenn married Jessie V Miller 1-17-1908 in Morris, Mn. Settled in the Okanogan Valley and Tonasket, Wash. My mother was their 3rd daughter, Jean A.

If any one can give me more info on any or all of the above I would greatly appreciate it. and will share what I have in return
